Q: How long will an on-site consultation take?
A: This depends obviously on the volume of the medical documents to be reviewed.
The consultant's time is most efficiently spent if there is an 'executive summary' available and if there has been clear identification and tagging of key medical documents which the client requires clarification about.
Q: How do I arrange for a consultation?
A: Contact us via email or phone for a preliminary discussion and estimation of the likely complexity of the consultation. A mutually acceptable time will be arranged.
Q: Will it be possible to request an on-site consultation outside of Vancouver or Victoria?
A: Yes that will be possible. Considerations will be made for travel costs
Q: How is the consultation documented?
A: The key to the consultation is the discussion of difficult or contentious medical issues/points with our clients. Each of those points and suggestions for action will be reduced to writing and left with the client after the consultation.
Q: Will it be possible to have follow-up consultations?
A: Yes, frequently there are additional medical documents requested as a result of, or received after the initial consultation. A follow-up consultation on the phone or in-person could be useful.
